Foy Harold Hill, age 84, of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday January 17, 2020 in Surry Community Health and Rehab Center in Mt. Airy, North Carolina.

Mr. Hill was born in Carroll County, Virginia on January 29, 1935 to the late George and Ella Faddis Hill.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Connie and Mark Horton of Pilot Mountain; son and daughter-in-law Ronnie and Julie Hill of Pilot Mountain; grandchildren Erin and Brandon Grant, Brian and Katie Hill, Sarah and Kyle Shinault, Luke Horton; great grandchildren Rylee Grant and Connor Claxton. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Fern Hill of Woodlawn and Maxilene Hill of Hillsville; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 2:30 PM in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church with Rev. Terri Gregory officiating. Burial will follow at Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church from 1:30 until time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church or a charity of their choice.
