Flora Diana Brendle Edwards, age 85, of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday September 4, 2021 at Grayson Nursing Rehab.

Flora was born on July 18, 1936 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Daniel Brendle and Della Mae Rakes.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harland "Buck" Edwards of Galax, VA and her son Randall Harlen Edwards of Galax, VA; She is survived by her sister Donna Brendle Fargis of Greensboro, NC; sister and brother-in-law Doris and Dan Edwards of Sparta, NC; and brother Daniel "DC" Brendle of Galax, VA; Also surviving are three nieces, Lisa Fargis of Greensboro, NC; Cheryl and Ron Bazhaw of Pleasant Garden, NC; and Tina Brendle of Low Gap, NC; Six great nephews and one great niece.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday September 8, 2021 at 2:00PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Dan Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until time of the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
