Fern Alene Hill age 91 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Monday August 30, 2021 at the home of her son Roger Hill.

Mrs. Hill was born in Carroll County, Virginia on May 28, 1930 to Delbert Talmadge and Bessie Pearl Mabe Lineberry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband J. Glenn Hill.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Larry and Virginia Hill of Charlotte, North Carolina; Randy Hill of Woodlawn, Virginia; Roger and Pat Hill of Galax, Virginia; one grandson and spouse Joseph and Kirsten Hill; one step-granddaughter and spouse Crystal and Travis Brown; two great-grandchildren Dylan Brown and Kristen Brown; sisters-in-law Maxalene Hill and Zella Lineberry; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the Monta Vista Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
