They are survived by their daughter, Vicki Galyean Haga and husband Ben; son Mark Galyean and wife Donna, all of Galax, Virginia; granddaughter Lynn Funk and husband Jody of Galax; and great grandchildren Kayleigh and Austin Funk, of Lynchburg, VA. Bonnie was a loving mother who enjoyed the company of her family, as well as her church family, and many friends. She was a mentor, a teacher, and Christian witness. She was an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and had been actively involved in Women's Ministry and served as church organist/pianist until her health began to fail her. She worked for Waddell Nursing Home for 33 years prior to her retirement.

F.C. was preceded in his homegoing by his parents, Saber Ether Galyean and Ella Mae Lowe Galyean; his sister Ila Faye Galyean Rutherford Higgens; brother Thurman Osler Galyean, and his wife Virginia.

F.C. was a man of his word. A working man for Burlington Industries as a "harness fixer" for over 40 years. He loved to trade and bargain and was a natural farmer that enjoyed cattle. F.C. was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church of Galax, where he was a deacon for many years. Children loved him and he was always ready with a gift of Juicy Fruit chewing gum.

The graveside service will be conducted by Rev. James Cowley and Rev. Ben Haga at Monta Vista Memorial Gardens on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 11 AM. Drive through/walkup visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of the service.
