Faye Bowers Sizemore age 71 of Galax, Va. passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008 at her home. She was born on August 27, 1937 in Galax, Va. to Ottie & Ruby Jones Isom. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Bowers & a son Bryan Bowers. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Barbara & Don Melton of Galax, Va.; sister Jean Tompkins of Galax, Va.; brothers Emmett Isom & Bob Isom both of Galax, Va.; June Isom of Maine; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 1:00 pm in Monta Vista Cemetery with Rev. Garry Adams officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
