Faye Davis Roberts, 73, of Fries passed away Wednesday morning December 22, 2010, at North Carolina Baptist Hospital, Winston-Salem, NC. Faye was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Garnet M. Davis and Nellie Bilbrey Davis on August 10, 1937.

Faye is survived by her mother: Nellie Bilbrey Davis of Fries; three sons and daughters-in-law: Eddie Wilson & Cindy of Galax; James Roberts & Amanda of Hillsville; Dennis James Roberts of Galax; two daughters Lisa Roberts Tate and fiance' Mike Bates of Belpre, Ohio and Sereena Welch of Charlotte, North Carolina; two sisters & brother-in-law: Brenda Bryant & Larry of Galax; Peggy Jordan of Fries; and one brother Alton Davis of Fries. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, December 24, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Jeff Combs and Rev. Tim Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will be in the Mount Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.
