Fannie Virginia Wilson's Obituary
Fannie Virginia Wilson known as Virginia Wilson age 93 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday morning at the home of her daughter.
Mrs. Wilson was born on September 20, 1920 in McDowell County, West Virginia to George Vinton and Augusta Dishorn Wyatt. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James F. Wilson.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Elsie Cockerham of Woodlawn, Virginia; Linda and Eddie Wilson of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Walter Phillip Ayers, Jr. and Wilma of Galax, Virginia; sister Elsie Hoback of Sky Gusty, West Virginia; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Camet Spivey officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The family will receive friends anytime at 239 Elkhorn Road.
