Fairy Bedwell Poe age 89 of Galax, Va. passed away Wednesday, March 5,2008 in Waddell Nursing Home. Mrs. Poe was born in Grayson County, Virginia on July 15,1918 to Joseph Rush & Pearlie Hale Bedwell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Gordon Poe. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Beverly & Clint Funk of Galax, Va.; sons & daughters-in-law Randy & Cindy Poe of Galax, Va.; Jackie & Sheree Poe of Martinsville, Va.; sister Emma Goodnough of Galax, Va.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday, March 7, 2008 at 8:00 pm at Cliffview Church of God with Pastor Ron Hill, Pastor D.G. Fox, Rev. Ben Haga and Pastor Jackie Poe officiating. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 11:00 am at Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday six until eight pm at Cliffview Church of God.
