Everett Arthur Lawson's Obituary
Everett Arthur Lawson age 79 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015 in the Blue Ridge-Golden Living Center.
Mr. Lawson was born in Grayson County, Virginia on June 29, 1935 to Kyle Sam and Ina Lee Troy Lawson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Roy Dean Lawson and a half-brother Gene Lawson.
He is survived by two sisters and brother-in-law Edith Dawn and Cecil Norton Ayers of Woodlawn, Virginia; Gladys Lucille Bullion of Walnut Cove, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; special nephews Tony Ayers and Dean Bullion; many friends at the Golden Living Center.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Ted Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
