Everett Junior Jones age 71 of Fries, Va. passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007 in Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born in Carroll County, Va. on January 13, 1936 to the late Everett Neal & Vergie Barber Jones. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Frank Jones. He is survived by his sons & daughters-in-law Bobby & Diane Jones; Allen & Becky Jones; Randy & Star Jones all of Fries, Va.; sisters & brothers-in-law Helen & Tommy Sumner of Fries, Va.; Shirley & Grey Bunn of Fancy Gap, Va.; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 2:00 PM in Mt. Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Kenneth Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.
