Everett Frank Caudell, Jr. age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 in the Commonwealth Assisted Living in Hillsville, Virginia.

Mr. Caudell was born in Carroll County, Virginia on September 10, 1941 to Everett Frank Caudell, Sr. and Lola Mary Rakes Caudell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Rebeca Lopez Caudell and daughter-in-law Buffy Caudell.

He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law Thomas and Karen Caudell; Norman Caudell all of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren Anthony; Cameron and Summer; three great -grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law Jo Ann and Larry Bowman of Pennsylvania and one niece.

A private graveside service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
