Evelyn Kay Bryant, age 54, of Galax, VA passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at her home.
Kay was born on March 31, 1957 in Galax, Virginia to Jefferson Davis and Avis Willis Hiatt.
She is survived by her husband Ricky Bryant of Galax, Virginia; daughter Cher Dean of Galax, Virginia; son Phillip Dean of Richmond, Virginia; sisters Jane Marshall of Richmond, Virginia; Susan Isaacs of Roanoke, Virginia; Jama Dixon of Galax, Virginia; brother Davis Hiatt of Mt. Airy, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; mother-in-law Clella Bryant of Galax, Virginia.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. James Cowley officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 at the Hillcrest Baptist Church.
