Evah Jean Rector Iroler, age 80, of Galax, VA, died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the Waddell Nursing Home, Galax, VA.

Mrs. Iroler was born March 28, 1930 in Galax, VA to Robert Chapman and Mallie Jane Anders Rector. She was the widow of James C.(Jim) Iroler.

She is survived by sisters-in-law, Hope Rector and Freeda Rector of Galax, VA,; special children, Devon Lyn Newman, Tyler Garrison Hill, Paige Kailyn Hill, Cameron Andrew Rector: nieces, Donna Sue Sikes, Deana Lynne Osborne, Sonja Paige Rector; nephews, Robert Jeryle (Sonny) Rector, William Harold (Billy) Rector, Ronald Kenneth Rector, great-niece,Laura Jamroz, great-nephew, Chris Rector and several Great and Great-Great Nieces & Nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Iroler was preceded in death by brothers, Howard Eldean Rector, Harold Andrew Rector and Kenneth Robert Rector.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 31, 2010 at the Mt. Vale United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Mount Vale Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM Monday prior to the funeral
service. Officiating ministers will be the Rev. Rick Lindamood and the Rev. Bill Ring. In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Vale Memorial Cemetery Fund, C/O Frank Plichta, 103 Prospect Ave., Galax, VA. 24333.
