Eva Edwards Joines age 88 of Baywood, Virginia passed away Friday July 26, 2024 at her home.

Eva was born on January 9, 1936, in Baywood, Virginia to the late John D. and Ruth Higgins Edwards. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Daniel C. Joines.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa Terry of Kernersville, North Carolina: daughters and sons-in-law Deborah and Gary Bumgardner of Kernersville, North Carolina, Dana and Jim Gregg of Clover, South Carolina; nephew J.D. Edwards of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Kim & Chris Moon, Cory and Allie Bumgardner, Talmage and Jenny Cox, Robert and Joannah Cox.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:30 PM in Oakland United Methodist Church with Rev. Richard Gregory officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Oakland United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
