Eva Mae Diamond age 83 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Carrington Place in Daleville, Va.. Mrs. Diamond was born in West Virginia on March 1, 1925 to Strata S. & Flora Snow Frazier. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Marshall J. Diamond and daughter Voncile Reeves. She is survived by her sons & daughter-in-law Marshall B. Diamond of Troutville, Va.; Harold S. & Rosalinda Diamond of Sumter, South Carolina; son-in-law Joe R. Reeves, Jr. of Boonville, N.C.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 11:00 am at Mt. Pisgah Church of Christ with Marvin Williams officiating. The body will lie-in-state thirty minutes before the funeral service. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
