Eula Lowe Pugh age 85 of Hillsville, Virginia went home on August 29, 2018. She is survived by her loving son, Mark, granddaughters Megan Baker and Lauren Pugh, three great grandchildren and her beloved longtime companion Jethro Roberts.

Mrs. Pugh was born on December 2, 1932 in Mt. Airy, North Carolina to Clifford and Flora Hawks Lowe. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wade Pugh.

Her beautiful smile reflected a joyful heart and the glint in her eyes hinted at her mischievous streak. She was artistically gifted, an artist in her own right who instilled a love of drawing in her son. She loved travelling and seeing the country and met many interesting people some of whom were famous.

She loved spending time with her family and especially treasured time with her great grandbabies. She embraced life, fun, and joy; she was dearly loved and her presence will be sorely missed.

The funeral service will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 at 2:00 P in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Flippin and Elder Melvin McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
