Eugene Grant Huffman age 68 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Eugene was born on July 18, 1945 in Grayson County, Virginia to Robert Lee and Annie Byrd Huffman.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Huffman of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Jenette and Randy Triplett; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Melodie Huffman all of Galax, Virginia; step-children and spouses Lynn and Nathan Justice of Galax, Virginia; Charles and Evelyn Akers of Midlothian, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Patsy Hill; Judy Robinson; Dorothy and Richard Wilkerson all of Fries, Virginia; Delorse and Steve Watson of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Robert (Bill) Huffman; Mike and Sue Huffman all of Fries, Virginia; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
