Ethelene Sarah Love, 87, passed away Saturday January 5, 2019 at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, Virginia. Mrs. Love was born on August 17, 1931 to the late Harvey Earl and Lila Vass Burcham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Anderson Love; granddaughter Christina Hope Love; and siblings Iva Lee Tate, Belva Lucille Quesinberry, Kenneth Burcham, and Geneva Edwards.

Mrs. Love is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Edwin James and Lois Thomason Love and Wesley Duane and Anita Hackler Love, all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren Kevin Love, Christopher Love, Erick Love, Courtney Love all of Galax, Virginia and Scarlett Love Hopkins of Rural Retreat, Virginia; great-grandchildren Carli Love, Cali Love, Casen Love, Brealeigh Love, Leyla Love, Mason Love, and Lucas Hopkins. Also surviving are sisters Mae Goad of Hillsville, Virginia, Lois Weeks of Floyd, Virginia, and Lionel Burcham of Fancy Gap, Virginia; sister-in-law Shirley Marie Burcham; special friend Alene Nester; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and burial will be held Monday January 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Oakland Cemetery with Brother Garry Adams officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
