Estellene Anders Jones, age 84, of Galax, VA died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 at the Golden Living Nursing Home, Galax. Mrs. Anders was the widow of Steven Andrew Jones and was born April 7, 1923 to Wiley and Evah Smith Anders in Alleghany County, NC. She is survived by one daughter, Dianne Jones of the home, one son and daughter-in-law, Larry & Evelyn Jones of Woodlawn, two sisters-in-law, Goldie Harris of Galax and Hazel Jones of Salem, VA, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by an infant son, Bobby Jones and six sisters and two brothers.

Funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM Monday in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel and graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM prior to the funeral service, Monday, at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
