Estelle Hawks' Obituary
Estelle Hawks age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Hawks was born in Surry County, North Carolina on January 11, 1938 to Eddie and Ima Carson Lowe.
She is survived by her husband Elder William Reuben Hawks, Jr. of Galax, Virginia; children and spouses Victor and Pamela Cox of Lawndale, North Carolina; Arthur Nelson Cox of Roanoke, Virginia; Ima Karen and Gary Presnell of Sparta, North Carolina; David M. Hawks of Fancy Gap, Virginia; Debra Lynn and Martin Amburn of Woodlawn, Virginia; sister Io Harrison of Low Gap, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; numerous friends.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Melvin McGrady officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemtery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
