Ernest George Harber age 59 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at his home.
Ernest was born on September 3,1956 in Kenton, Ohio to Robert Louis and Ellen Jean Sours Harber.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Harber of Galax, Virginia; step-daughter Tessa Redd of Hillsville, Virginia; sister Mary Ann Jones of Galax, Virginia; brothers Jon Harber; Joe Harber and J.R. Harber all of Ohio, mother-in-law Ruth Stanley of Galax, Virginia; brother-in-law Billy Stanley of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special caregiver Chelsie Smith.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Popes Knob Cemetery with Robbie Redd officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Military Rites will be conducted by the Grayson VFW Post 7726.
