Ernest C. "Buddy" Shupe's Obituary
Ernest C. "Buddy" Shupe, age 77,formerly of Fries, VA passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at Edgemont Nursing Home In Wytheville, VA . Buddy was born in Grayson County, Virginia on July 15, 1934 to the late Ernest W. & Nancy Landreth Shupe.
He is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law: E. Clifton Shupe, Jr. and Sherrie; Jeffrey Shupe; David Shupe and Bobbie; Lynn Shupe & Robin all of Fries, VA; four sisters: Ella Ruth Snoddy of New Canton, Virginia; Violet White, Nell Hammond, and Eva Jane Vaughan all of Fries, Virginia; one brother: Curtis Shupe also of Fries, VA; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 28, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Hill Cemetery near Fries, VA with Rev. Donald White officiating. There will be no visitation.
