Emory "Guy" Crouse better known as "Guy" Crouse,  90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the Commonwealth Senior Living of Hillsville after a long struggle with cancer.

He was born in Grayson County, Baywood Community, on October 18, 1928 to Lester and Myrtle Crouse. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Ray Crouse and Robert Crouse and two sisters Hazel Peterson and Pauline Andrews all of Galax.

He proudly served his country in the US Army in the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife Bobbie Marshall Crouse of Commonwealth Senior Living of Hillsville; daughters and son-in-law Brenda and T.J. Harmon of Galax, Virginia; Patricia Austin of High Point, North Carolina; grandchildren whom he dearly loved Jeremy Harmon and wife Anjelica of Galax, Virginia; Dr. Deidre Harmon of Waynesville, North Carolina; two sisters Helen Robinson and Louise Diamond both of Galax; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to either the Medi Home Hospice, 336 North Washington Avenue, Pulaski, Virginia 24301 or to the Joy Ranch Home For Children, 813 Joy Ranch Road, Woodlawn, Virginia 24381. The family will be at the home of Brenda and T.J. Harmon, 1445 Pipers Gap Road, Galax.
