Emma Louise Phibbs age 92 of Winston-Salem, North Carolina and formerly of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Southfork in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Mrs. Phibbs was born in Wythe County, Virginia on April 1, 1926 to Eugene and Carrie Kane Billings. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Phibbs and a son Rick Phibbs.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Cheryl Phibbs of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; a daughter-in-law Linda Phibbs of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; grandchildren and spouses Christa Phibbs, Victoria and Thomas LaMonte, Colin and Tess Phibbs; Spencer Phibbs; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 8, 2019 a 12:00 noon in the Mt. Hope Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Gunter officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, March 8 ^th from 1:30 PM until 3:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
