Emma V. Caudill Anders age 91 of Galax, Va. passed away Monday, March 10, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Anders was born on July 21, 1916 in Grayson County, Va. to James Sidney & Fannie Osborne Caudle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Bayard E. Anders, daughter Wanda L. Anders and son James M.Anders. She is survived by two daughters & sons-in-law Billie Ruth & Bob Taylor; Audrey & Burlison Kinser all of Galax, Va.; brothers & sisters-in-law Leo & Belle Caudell of Galax, Va.; Dan & Alfogene Caudle of Fallston, Va.; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Olivet Union Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Carrico and Pastor Doug Hawks officiating. The body wil lie-in-state one hour prior the funeral service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
