Emily M. Strauss age 94 of Reno, Nevada passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 in the St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno.

Mrs. Strauss was born in New York on June 19, 1924 to George P. and Magdalena Shinn Eisenhauer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Strauss.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Maria McEneaney of Seaford, New York; Eileen and Edward Kaersher of N. Merrick, New York; Gloria Coker of Franklin Square, New York; Brian and Theresa Strauss of Reno, Nevada; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father David M. Ssentamu officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery.
