Elsie Ernestine White age 80 of Fries, Virginia passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. White was born in Carroll County, Virginia on December 5, 1933 to Elbert and Stella Martin Quesinberry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband George Clay White; sisters Edna Christine Kirby and Etheleen Waller.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Daniel Higgins of Asheboro, North Carolina; three grandchildren Nicholas Higgins, Jacqueline Higgins and Zachary Higgins; sister Eva Imogene Davis of Pulaski, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Donald White officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
