Elsie Johnson Pugh's Obituary
Elsie N. Johnson Pugh, age 91, of Hillsville, VA passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the Trinity Mission Health & Rehab Center in Hillsville, VA.
Mrs. Pugh was born Dec. 27, 1919 in Grayson County, VA to Charlie and Blanch Joines Nichols.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Clifford & Linda Johnson, Jonesville, NC, one daughter, Joyce Lester, Nashville, TN and one step-daughter, Patsy Borne, Greensboro, NC, brother, Eugene Nichols, and sister, Minnie Patton both of Galax, VA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Mt. Vale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Calahan officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
