Elsie Frances Sprinkle McMillan age 90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Waddell Nursing Home.

Mrs. McMillan was born on November 3,1919 to William Melvin & Nannie Bell Allen Sprinkle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Blake McMillan and son Stephen Blake McMillan.

She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Carol & Lake Coleman of Hallsboro, N.C.; daughter-in-law Sandy McMillan of The Woodlands, Texas; grandchildren Michael Coleman; Mark Coleman; Wendy McMillan & Pam McMillan; great-grandchildren; Skylar Coleman & Chase Coleman; several nieces & nephews; special friends Martha Dozier; Mary Harrison; Dolly Moss & Betty Shaffner.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 11, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Felts Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Walt Simmerman officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 until 1:30 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
