Elmo Lineberry's Obituary
Elmo Lineberry age 76 of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Lineberry was born on July 4, 1938 in Carroll County, Virginia to Charlie Elmer and Minnie Ila Newman Lineberry. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Ineda and brothers Leonard, Buford, Gene and Jim.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Funk Lineberry of Fries, Virginia; sons Sterlyn Lineberry of Hillsville, Virginia; Carl Lineberry and Richard Lineberry both of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren Jennifer Crotts and Katie Burris; great-grandson Moses Crotts; brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Barbara Lineberry of Woodlawn, Virginia; special nephew Danny Ray Porterfield.
The funeral service will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Glesanna Dixon and the Rev. Ralph Alley officiating Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12 noon until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
