Elmer Armfield Hale's Obituary
Elmer Armfield Hale age 90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Hale was born in Grayson County, Virginia on February 13, 1926 to Eli Sullivan and Sally Carico Hale. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Ila Patton, Flora Ayers and Belva Shaw, as well as four brothers Boyd Hale, Gene Hale, Billy Frank Hale and Harry Dean Hale.
He is survived by his wife Aileene H. Hale of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Kimberly and Dean Chiapetto of Floyd, Virginia; grandson Adam Hale Chiapetto; brothers and sister-in-law Herman Hale; Charlie and Norma Hale all of Galax, Virginia; sisters-in-law Elsie Hale and Gaye Hale; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 2,2016 at 11:00 AM in the Locust Grove Church of Christ with Craig Embree officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Locust Grove Church of Christ.
