Elma Harriett Andrews passed away Friday, September 8, 2006 in Beverly Blue-Ridge Healthcare. She was born January 27, 1912 in Grayson County, Va. to the late Tom and Candice Delp Williams. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Kemper Andrews. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Ruth Andrews of Galax, Va.; a step-daughter, Jannette Shockley of Hillsville, Va.; a special niece, Gay Bales of Grafton, Ohio and three step-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 11, 2006 at 2:00 PM in the First Christian Church with Rev. Ted Bartlett and Rev. Casey McKenna officiating. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in Crab Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
