Ellen Jane Martin age 75 of Galax, Va. passed away Thursday, March 22,2007 in Golden Living Health Care. Mrs. Martin was born on November 24,1931 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Amos & Mary Elizabeth McCarthy Sours. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willie Martin and a daughter Linda Martin. She is survived by a daughter Mary Ann Jones of Galax, Va.; sons Ernest G. Harber of Galax, Va.; Johnathan A. Harber & Joseph David Harber both of Kenton, Ohio; James Ray Harber of Bellefrontian, Ohio; sister Della Jones of Florida; brothers Jessie Sours of Florida and George Sours of Alabama; seventeen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 26, 2007 at 2:00 PM in the Galax City Cemetery with Rev. Robert Redd and Rev. Rawley Amburn officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
