Ella Delores Carico Davis age 75 of Elk Park, North Carolina and formerly of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Cranberry House at Elk Park.

Mrs. Davis was born in Ennice, North Carolina on March 12, 1942 to Lonnie Edgar and Vinnie Myrtle Combs Carico. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ernest (E.A.) Davis.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Melissa D. and Howard Adams of Troy, North Carolina; sisters and brother-in-law Juanita Carpenter of North Carolina; Jeanette and Doug Morris of Waynesboro, North Carolina; brother and sister-in-law Buck and Wanda Carico of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Amber and Michael White of Centralia, Washington; Heather and Roger Brown of Greenville, North Carolina; Jason Luther of Charlotte, North Carolina; one great-grandchild Emma Brown; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11:00 in
the Edmonds Cemetery with Mark Carico officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
