Elizabeth Lynch Hill age 86 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Hill was born in North Carolina on November 21, 1930 to the Rev. Aaron and Mary Martin Lynch. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Hardin Hill and a sister Martha Lowman.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Marie "BeBe" Hill of Martinsville, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law James William (Buddy) and Rhonda Edwards Hill of Roanoke, Virginia; Robert Benjamin and Sally Newman Hill of Galax, Virginia; sister Ruth Purser of Jamestown, North Carolina; grandchildren and spouses Adam Dale and Heather Sizemore; Hillary Lynn Sizemore; Amanda and Adam Howard; Matthew Edward Hill; Benjamin Lake Hill; Kylee Lynette Hill; great-grandchildren Elizabeth Grace Sizemore; Emma Faith Sizemore; Garrett Lee Sizemore; Remington Dale Sizemore; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Bartlett and Doug Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the First Baptist Church.
