Elizabeth Fields Moser better known as Lizzie Moser age 91 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012 in the Waddell Nursing Home.

Mrs. Moser was born in Grayson County, Virginia on May 10, 1920 to Jackson and Annie Melton Fields. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph L. Moser.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Doris and Bowie Combs of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Terry and Linda Combs; Angie and Jack Davis all of Galax, Virginia; Jeff and Wynn Combs of Fries, Virginia; great-grandchildren and spouse Crystal and Jordan Anderson, Joyelle Combs ; Danielle Combs; Coty Moser Davis; great-great-grandchildren Cole Pickett and Aiden Anderson; sister Mildred Liddle of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Jeff Combs and Rev. Terry Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
