Elizabeth Ann Donithan Catron age 90 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 in the Senior Home Share of Galax, Virginia.

Mrs. Catron was born in Galax, Virginia on January 13, 1935 to Harve and Leona Pierce Donithan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond June Catron; two sisters Jama Lee Murray and Shirley Truitt; and two brothers Joseph Donithan and Virgil Donithan .

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Marsha and Joe McCraw; Camilla and Paul Edwards; son Duane Catron and Donna all of Galax, Virginia; one special grandson Westley Catron; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law Roy Truitt; sister-in-law Wannie Donithan all of Galax, Virginia.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Chaplain of Medi Hospice Robbie Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The family respectfully request no visits or food at the home.
