Elizabeth Hudson Dickson age 43 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Elizabeth was born on September 16,1965 in Knox County, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by a brother Michael Hudson. She is survived by her husband Chris Thomas Dickson; daughter Megan Dickson; son Thomas Dickson all of the home in Galax, Va.; parents Rev. Robert & Carolyn Hudson of Johnson City, Tennessee; brothers & sisters-in-law Darryl & Jackie Hudson of North Canton, Ohio; Craig & Janet Hudson of Covington, Georgia; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 13, 2009 at 11:00 am in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Walt Simmerman officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday morning from 10:30 until service time at the First United Methodist Church.
