Elizabeth Raym DeLong Brannock age 65 of Galax, Va.passed away Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Grace Health Care in Abingdon,Va.. Elizabeth was born on July 19, 1943 in Tazewell County, Va. to James H. & Cora White DeLong. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Odell Brannock. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law Patriciamarie Rea & Daniel Lyles of Marion, Va.; son Ronnie Brannock of Florida; step-son & wife Tracy & Debbie Brannock of Galax, Va.; sisters Helen Mullilns of Morristown, Tennessee; Joyce Swearingew of Albany, Ohio; brother Bobby DeLong of Whitewood, Va.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. God sent special angels Bert & Mary Choate & family. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 1:00 pm in Snow Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ernie Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:30 until time for the service at Snow Hill Baptist Church.
