Elizabeth Currie Colchie, age 95, died at her home in Woodlawn, VA on Sunday, July 10, 2011.
Mrs. Colchie was born in Scotland June 5, 1916 to Adam and Bela Lockhart Currie. In addition to her parents whe was preceded in death by her husband, John Colchie.
She is survived by one daughter, Katherine Morrell, Portland, Maine; one son, Tom Colchie, Brookyn, NY; grandchildren, Erika Morrell, Lauren Morrell, Julia Colchie, Laura Colchie, Daisy Colchie; niece, Cynthia DeRosa; special friend, Buddy.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Woodlawn, VA. Officiating minister will be the Rev. Charles Smythers. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
