Eliot Jones Janssens Sumamait age 22 days of Independence, Virginia passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in the Alleghany Memorial Hospital.
Eliot was born on December 8, 2014 in Wytheville, Virginia to Joseph Juan Janssens Sumamait and Savannah Reynolds Janssens Sumamait.
Eliot was preceded in death by a brother Charlie Janssens Sumamait and his paternal grandfather Charlie Miller.
In addition to his parents of Independence, Virginia he is survived by his brother Emerson Janssens Sumamait of Independence, Virginia; maternal grandmother Fran Criner Reynolds of Independence, Virginia; maternal grandfather Tony Reynolds of Galax, Virginia; paternal grandmother Wendy Jo Janssens of Atascadero, California; maternal great-grandmothers Irma Gardner of Fries, Virginia; Mabel Reynolds of Critz, Virginia; several aunts and uncles; special family members Vennise Forte and Dawn Busch.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
The family expresses a special thank you to the Independence EMS, the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Wythe County Community Hospital OB Nurses and their community of loving friends.
