Elijah Wayne Ramsey, Sr.'s Obituary
Elijah Wayne Ramsey, Sr., 59, of Galax passed away Saturday at the Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax. Mr. Ramsey was born in Rockbridge County, Virginia December 23, 1950 to the late Harry Lucas Ramsey and Julia Clark Ramsey.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn of the home, four children and spouses; Faye & Bobby Todd, Elijah Wayne Ramsey, Jr., Janet & David Teal; and Emily & Justin Long all of Galax; sisters and brothers:
Berley Clark of Rockbridge, Clarence Ramsey, Skip Ramsey both of Pulaski; Denny Ramsey, Rhonda Ramsey both of Rockbridge; Lisa Cash, Brenda Ramsey, Priscilla Reynolds all of Dublin, and Hazel Patterson of Richmond. Nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren also survive along with special friend Sabre Horn.
The family will receive friends Monday from 12 noon until 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM in Monta Vista Cemetery with Clarence Ramsey officiating.
Elijah is a member of the Newburn Church of Jesus in Newburn, VA.
