Elijah Charles Dowell seven months old son of Charles & Danielle Dowell of Fries, Va. passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at Brenner's Childrens Hospital. Elijah was born on September 2, 2008 in Forsyth County, North Carolina. In addition to his parents he is survived by his sisters Selena Goodson of Edgewood, Maryland, Amber Dowell of Fries, Va.; maternal grandparents Wayne & Orlean Brown of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Charles & Shirley Dowell of Bel Air, Md.. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 14,2009 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Whitehead Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
