Eldon Harold Hill known as Harold Hill age 81 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday February 5, 2022 at his home.

Mr. Hill was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 11, 1940 to Eldon and Gladys Bullion Hill Melton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister Mary Ruth Hill and his step-father Garvie Melton.

He is survived by his wife Alice Ann Padgett Hill; daughter and son-in-law Lisa Hill-McCoy Payne and Sean all of Galax, Virginia; grand-pets Loki, Bentley; Smokey and Toofie.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church (Carrollton Pike) with the Rev. Terri Gregory and the Rev. Junior Bullion officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church. Burial will be Friday at 1:00 PM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery.
