Elaine McMillan Sexton age 78 of Galax, Va. passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Hospice House of Rutherford County in Forest City, N.C.. She was the widow of the late Ralph Sexton. Elaine was a native of Grayson County, Va.; a member of First United Methodist Church of Galax. She retired from Truitt's Ladies Clothing Store in Galax after 36 years of service. She is survived by her daughter Ginger Dancy of Rutherfordton, N.C.; sister Doris Eller of Winston-Salem, N.C. and one grandchild. Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the First United Methodist Church with Rev.
Walt Simmerman officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday after the funeral service at First United Methodist Church.
