Edwin Jerrold Killen better known as Eddie Killen age 75 of Mt. Airy, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Eddie was born on September 11, 1945 in Grayson County, Virginia to Elbert Morris and Mary Beatrice Murphy Killen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters Jame Lee Bartley; Jean Shupping and Jeanette Lineberry and a brother Elbert "Pete" Killon, Jr.

He is survived by his daughter Susan Renee Thoren of North Carolina;several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friend Joyce Anderson.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Saddle Mountain Cemetery with Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
