Edward Wayne Payne better known as Eddie Payne age 61 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday October 29, 2023 at his home.

Eddie was born in Galax, Virginia on November 24, 1961 to Roy Eldon and Opal Arnette Gravley Payne.

He is survived by two daughters Whittany Pyles of Christiansburg, Virginia; Brittany Payne of Wytheville, Virginia; two grandchildren Colton Miller and Derrainger Thomas; sisters and brothers-in-law Eunice and Jerry Harvey of Mouth of Wilson, Virginia; Wynnes and Frank Harless of Galax, Virginia; brother and sister-in-law Sammy and Debbie Payne of Hillsville, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
