Edward Paul Reavis age 71 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.

Paul was born in Grayson County, Virginia on August 6, 1947 to Paul Higgins Reavis and Thelma Catron Reavis. In addition to his father Paul Higgins Reavis and mother Thelma Catron Burnette he was preceded in death by his wife Judy Elaine Lovell Reavis, sister Mary Ellen Keller and brother James Burnette.

He proudly served our country in the US Army.

He is survived by his daughter Renea Reavis of Vancouver Canada; step-children and spouses Tammy and Donald Shelar of Woodlawn, Virginia; Joe and Becky Grimes of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Kristina Largen, Brittany Royal, Abigale Grimes and Wesley Grimes; two great-grandchildren; sister Shirley Nester of Pulaski, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Stone Chapel Cemetery in Elk Creek, Virginia with Military Rites by the Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
