Edward Simeon Lundy known as E.S. Lundy age 94 of Galax, Va. passed away Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Golden Living Blue Ridge Healthcare. Mr. Lundy was born on September 6, 1912 in Carroll County, Va. to the late Isaac & Mary Ellen Carico. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Lundy; sister Mary Ballard and a brother Emory Lundy. He is survived by one niece, one nephew and several cousins. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Frist Christian Church with Rev. Casey McKenna and Rev. Carl Bean officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery with Masonic Rites by Galax Oldtown Lodge #68. A time of fellowship will precede the service as his body lies in state from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
