Edna Kathleen Williams McMickle age 87 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, August 30, 2021 in the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.

Mrs. McMickle was born in Grayson County, Virginia on September 12, 1933 to Troy Foley and Lola Carrico Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J.C. McMickle.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Gary Edwards; son Tony McMickle all of Galax, Virginia; grandson and wife Janson and Stacy McMickle; five great -grandchildren Jaden; Piper; Paisley; Crew; Jaycee-Kate; sister Louise Williams; brother and sister-in-law Billy and Betty Williams all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Bill Spurlin officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
